香水的呈現方式有許多種，有面向單一材料的深度探索，有對於氣味架構的細膩琢磨，也有些是對自然氣息的捕捉—— Ashes 屬於最後者。

Ashes 是被大雨沖洗的泥濘土壤，冰冷、無機的泥灰污水之間，柔韌的青草逐漸抽芽，生機勃發——
終於，看到繁花盛開。

前調上皮，以土臭素的氣息帶來深沉且略帶霉味的潮濕土壤感，捕捉下雨時的空氣；以青草香調、三葉草與廣藿香抹平土臭素激烈的氣息，將轉向柔軟又長滿苔蘚青草的土壤。這裡的土壤與青草氣息整體是寒冷的，帶著明顯的涼意，像是一座冰涼兒潮濕的森林。
隨著青綠的氣味擴散，潔白的花香也從一片泥濘之中升起，綻放——朦朧的、空靈的、有些透明的、潔淨又柔軟的白花香，安安靜靜地盛開在泥濘的綠地上。
官方註釋裡段白花香主要是關於梔子花，並以茉莉花香與乳香加以修飾。但我幾乎分辨不出這些元素，在我聞起來這就是一整段完整的自然花香，有著柔軟肥厚花瓣的透明白花，帶著一點青澀的綠意，因為雨天而戴上一層朦朧的簾紗。

雨一直下，泥水滑過枝葉流向地面，地上積起一灘灘水窪。
而那朵花只是寧靜的綻放——在那場還沒停下的雨幕間。

這支香水整體聞起來沒有什麼層次感，氣味除了前調以外幾乎沒有變化性，但這是一支已經高度完成的作品。除了氣味的一體性，它也已經講完了創作者想表達的故事：死灰化成泥土，終有一天，會在這裡綻放出新的生命。

Perfume can be approached in many ways—some explore a single material in depth, some focus on finely layered structures, and others seek to capture the feeling of nature. Ashes belongs to the last category.

It evokes the scent of muddy earth washed by heavy rain. In the midst of cold, murky, inorganic water, fresh green sprouts begin to emerge, eventually giving way to full bloom.

The opening is marked by geosmin, creating a wet, earthy atmosphere with a slightly musty undertone that recalls the air during a storm. Green notes—grass, clover, and patchouli—soften the rough edges and shift the impression toward a mossy, green-covered forest floor. The soil here feels cold and damp, with a distinct coolness, like standing in a rain-drenched woodland.

As the green notes expand, a white floral accord begins to rise from the muddy backdrop. It feels hazy, delicate, and pure—soft white petals with a touch of green youthfulness, veiled by the mist of a rainy day. The official notes list gardenia as the core floral, enhanced by jasmine and frankincense, though these individual elements blend into a seamless, natural bouquet. To me, it smells like a single soft white flower blooming quietly in the mud.

The rain continues to fall. Water flows down branches and pools on the ground. And in the midst of it all, the flower remains—blooming silently beneath the rain.
