沙漠之花：Mosafir Furusato 故鄉之息

Mosafir 是巴基斯坦的香水品牌，並且算是原料牌——使用自己蒸餾的原料來進行創作，其中最主打的原料就是麝香。
Furusato 是我在該品牌嘗試的第一支作品，Furusato 是日文「故鄉」的意思。
……所以說，為什麼巴基斯坦的調香品牌，要用日文拼音創作一支元素明顯不是日本文化的香水？

好的請把日本丟到一邊，這支作品除了沉香外我找不到其他日本元素了，也找不到家鄉的元素——除非這邊的「家鄉」指的是巴基斯坦。

Furusato 是一支略線性的木質調作品，沉香與檀香為核心，溫和的麝香做氣味元素間的橋樑，乾燥的香料氣息帶來異域氛圍，玫瑰位於氣味的最表層，使氣味增添一點玫瑰的甜味。

前調以玫瑰與藏紅花氣味開場，濃厚的藏紅花帶來混濁的不透明感，玫瑰的氣味偏向精油感的玫瑰，甜蜜感中略帶金屬綠意色澤。大部分的玫瑰都淹沒在藏紅花裡，藏紅花氣味相當濃厚，與底下的檀香沉香結合成最經典的中東式藏紅花玫瑰沉香架構。

但不同於決大部分的「玫瑰沉香」，Furusato的氣息並不厚重，海南沉香與檀香結合成的木質調非常輕盈，近似秘魯聖木的乾燥木香。玫瑰更是單純，只在開頭比較明顯，呈現出單一的玫瑰精油氣息，很快就會消失在木香與辛香料氣息中，偶而才會透出一絲帶蜜意的花香。
香料與沉香，是整支作品關鍵：小荳蔻帶來了乾燥、脫水的質地，使得檀香沉香的氣息更加乾燥，而無處不在的麝香黏合了整支作品，取代了一般此類作品中琥珀（香草樹脂）的角色。

整體來說，是一支乾燥、脫水，且香料感明顯的輕盈木香，略帶焚香的質地，宛如沙漠中的香料隊伍。玫瑰的氣息夾雜期間，一朵灼地中生長的沙漠之花。

Furusato is a linear woody fragrance centered on oud and sandalwood. Musk acts as a soft bridge between elements, while dry spices lend an exotic air. A faint trace of rose sits on the surface, adding a subtle touch of sweetness.

The fragrance opens with rose and saffron. The saffron is bold, rich, and opaque, quickly overshadowing the rose. The rose itself leans toward an essential oil character—sweet, slightly metallic, with a green shimmer—but is largely engulfed by the dense saffron. Together with sandalwood and agarwood, this forms the classic “saffron-rose-oud” structure typical of Middle Eastern perfumery.

However, unlike many heavy rose oud fragrances, Furusato feels surprisingly light. The oud (reportedly from Hainan) and sandalwood create a soft, dry woody base that brings to mind palo santo rather than traditional dense oud. The rose, too, remains simple—noticeable in the opening but quickly fading, leaving behind just a faint floral sweetness that occasionally reappears.

Spices and oud are key to this composition. Cardamom brings a dry, almost dehydrated texture that enhances the parched quality of the woods. Musk quietly replaces the amber-vanilla accord often found in similar fragrances, gently binding the components together without adding weight.

Overall, Furusato is a dry, spiced, and lightweight woody fragrance with a hint of incense in the background. It feels like a caravan of spices crossing a desert, with a fleeting rose blooming in the sand.
